O presente artigo realiza uma reflexão sobre trabalho, qualidade de vida e condições sociais que interferem na saúde da classe trabalhadora. Assinala as transformações ocorridas no modo de produção capitalista e no estilo de vida da sociedade contemporânea. Analisa as desigualdades sociais decorrentes desse processo, que interferem nas condições de vida e trabalho dos sujeitos. Aborda também os aspectos subjetivos vivenciados de prazer e dor, construindo um significado para todos os aspectos da vida desses indivíduos.

Reflections about work, quality of life and social conditions

The present study analyzes work, quality of life and social conditions interfering with the health of working class
individuals. It shows the changes that have taken place in capitalist production and the life style of the contemporaneous society. It analyzes social inequalities resulting from this process which interfere with the quality of life and work of individuals. It also approaches subjective aspects of pleasure and pain, giving a meaning to all of the aspects involved in the lives of these individuals.
